1.) THE CLASSIC
We’re calling this hair style the classic because, well, it’s pretty darn classic!! This look works with all of our velvet styles (Oversized Schoolgirls, Medium Schoolgirls, and Petal bows) and is a simple way to pin back the hair of your little adventurer.
2. THE TOP KNOT
We’ve found that Wunderkin mamas love this easy look. It looks great with Oversized Schoolgirls and Medium Schoolgirls and the bow can be worn on either the front or the back of the bun.
3.) THE PONY
This look gives us all the Belle vibes. Pulling back a simple pony tail and clipping in an velvet Oversized or Medium Schoolgirl is a Wunderkin go-to. We love this look because it works for both everyday adventures or a special event.
4.) THE HALF-UP HALF-DOWN
This is one of our favorite hairstyles for a Wunderkin velvet because it keeps it features that wild free-spirited hair that we love, but pulls it out of the face just enough to not interfere with the epic adventure at hand.
5.) PIGGIES
The classic pigtail hairstyle comes in so many varieties, but we at Wunderkin prefer all piggies have bows attached. To achieve this style, part your little’s hair down the middle and section off using two hair ties. Then clip either a set of Petal bows or even Medium Schoolgirl bows if you’re going for more of a statement look. If classic pigtails aren’t your thing, try to bun piggies! 6.) THE BALLERINA
Did you know that Hillary was a classically trained ballerina?? It’s only appropriate that we show you this effortlessly easy way to style a velvet bow that will give you all the ballerina vibes! All you do is start with pony tail, make a little hole above the hair tie, and tuck the bottom of the pony through the hole. Depending on the texture of your little’s hair you may need the help of a bobby pin or two to secure. Clip a Petal, Medium, or Oversized Schoolgirl over the tuck and voilà!
7.) THE SIDE BRAID
Now, we know braiding isn’t for everyone, but pairing a simple braid with a Wunderkin velvet is another great way to style your little one’s hair. Check out our favorite braiding tutorial here on YouTube if you’d like to give this style a shot.
8.) CHRISTMAS MORNING
